Mbidi’s quest to improve NFA

Newly elected Namibia Football Association (NFA) President Frans Mbidi on Wednesday met with the FA secretariat at Football House to discuss issues of mutual consent as he prepares to make the NFA one of the best run FA’s in the family. Mbidi, flanked by First vice Present Naftal Ngalangi and Second Vice President Crooks Nunuheb, held a meeting with all staff of the NFA secretariat, including Sectary General Barry Rukoro as well as coaches of the senior national teams, Brave Warriors’ Ricardo Mannetti and Brave Gladiators’ Jacqui Shipanga.

Introducing his vision of making the NFA one of the best run FAs in the FIFA family, Mbidi called on the staff to recommit and rededicate themselves to Team Namibia. “Thank you for your dedication and commitment over the years to the NFA’s outgoing EXCO and I have no doubt you will continue to commit yourselves in our collective pursuit of excellence. We can surely look back on the past with pride as we have achieved a lot under testing conditions and we are indeed well positioned to have a great 2015 and beyond,” Mbidi told the secretariat. Mbidi said that together with two deputies, they make up the  Emergency Committee, while the first Executive Committee of 2015 which will be held on 21 February, will appoint various standing committees aimed at steering the NFA forward.
