3DB believe in their dreams and realities

3DB released their album ‘Dreamz X Realities’, which is available at Street House shops in Rundu, Otjiwarongo, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Windhoek, at N$100 per CD.

3 Decibels (3DB), a music group made up of Brooklyn and Bobby have just released their first album called, ‘Dreamz X Realities’. Upon getting the album to review, I was impressed with the cover, the design and the quality of the pictures, but I did not want to get too excited before listening to the album.

Upon listening to the first three songs, I though to myself not another house album, where all the songs sound the same, but I was pleasantly surprised, when I heard the fourth track, ‘I got you’. This is a mellow, romantic song that gives women hope that there are still faithful, loving and good men in Namibia. 3DB show their lyrical brilliance in their fifth track, ‘Africa’. This song tells their audience that they have travelled and that they are not just catering for Namibian audiences but for the whole of Africa. This album can not be called an R&B album because it fuses different genres together. It has house, rap and reggae vibes to it. But one thing is for sure, this album is mostly meant for the ladies, and the fact that Brooklyn and Bobby are handsome young men, will drive the ladies crazy.  Listening to the album makes me believe in love again and makes me believe that men can still be romantic. Well done lads, this is a very good album and the fact that they know who their audiences are (women), is very smart of them. Their voices blend well together, making their sound smooth and soothing. Let’s hope local music fans respond well to them because they are a talented duo that can go really far in the industry. Their CD is for sale at Street House shops in Rundu, Otjiwarongo, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund and Windhoek (Wernhill), and Antonio’s Art in Post Street, at N$100 each.
