Team Namibia attends Frankfurt fair
Ms Karape Katjivive, Chief Trade Promotion Officer in the Ministry of Trade and Industry and Board Member of Team Namibia said “The Tendence trade fair plays an integral part on the ministry’s calendar to attract international investors to Namibia and to be exposed to exhibitions of the highest standard in the world. We are delighted to share this unprecedented opportunity with Team Namibia to further its mandate of creating a preference for Namibian products and services locally and abroad”.
A communiqué from Team Namibia said it’s General Manager, Ms. Lizette Foot, accepted an invitation to do a presentation on the topic “Business Destination Namibia” at a symposium called ‘Premium Quality – Made in Africa, Modern Fashion Made for the Western Market’ – scheduled for 25 August at Tendence in Frankfurt. This symposium is part of the Africa Chic programme held in co-operation with Messe Frankfurt, Tendence, Trade & Fairs Consulting and Origin Africa. The programme will be promoted through the Messe Frankfurt press department to international journalists and buyers, providing a fantastic opportunity for Team Namibia to raise awareness of Namibian products and services.
Team Namibia’s presentation will include a short video showing interviews and case studies from key Namibian manufacturers and Team Namibia members, including Koos Ferreira – Group CEO, NMI Group; Mr. Gideon Shilongo – Manager: Corporate Affairs, Namibia Breweries Limited; Ms. Heidi von Hase – Owner & Founder: Casa Anin; and a wider range of Namibian crafters. The video will be available for viewing on the Team Namibia website after the trade fair.
Team Namibia member, Casa Anin, represented by Von Hase, will take part in the Africa Chic exhibition.
