Career
“I started my career in the hotel industry as a Conference Manager. This lead to an offer from Avis Car Rental as Sales Manager. I was promoted to Airport Manager for Avis Car Rental at Hosea Kutako International Airport. Three months later I was promoted to Regional Manager for Avis Fleet Services Namibia.”
“In 1997 I decided to start my own conferencing business, Conference Solutions. I specialized in professional conference and event management, free-lance public relations and marketing as well as being an agent for public speakers.
“In 2003 Automated Fuel Services offered me a position to run and manage a project for them to roll-out e-Fuel in Namibia. I managed the process for a year, putting systems in place and training Namibians to take over the business.
“In 2005 I was approached by Imperial Fleet Services to join them as Sales Manager. A big part of my job was to bring the Omatemba Fleet Management Outsorcing Project with the government to a close for which I had to dispose of 800 vehicles.
“In 2007 I was promoted to Country Manager of both Imperial Fleet Services and Omatemba Fleet Services and in February 2015 I was promoted to General Manager, Namibia.
In the meantime, Imperial has unbundled and Eqstra Fleet Services Namibia was founded.

“After matric, I studied Hotel Management at the Wits Hotel School in Johannesburg where I obtained my International Diploma in Hotel Management in 1988.

“I am a self-driven, self-motivated individual with a passion for my job and industry in which I work. I like to have fun and do not take life too serious.”
