Miss Namibia joins Standard Bank

Standard Bank Namibia this week opened a Basic Blue account for Miss Namibia 2012, Tsakana Nkandih. The Basic Blue account which was officially launched by the bank last week caters for individuals with a basic income of N$2000 and less. Nkandih is one of the very first Namibians to open this new type of account.
Head of Marketing at Standard Bank Namibia, Thaddius Maswahu said the bank is honoured to have Nkandih as one of its clients. The have chosen to award the account to Nkandih because it would be of good use to her as a final year Public Management student at the University of Namibia.
“Its a pleasure and honour to be associated with this bank, the money in the bank account will help me prepare for the Miss World pageant which will be held in Las Vegas, USA in December this year” said a delighted Nkandih. She expressed her gratitude to the bank and promised to be a good ambassador at the Miss World Pageant.
