Trio set for Davis Cup play-off’s

Namibia will be hoping to make it to the Davis Cup this year with the hopes of the nation falling on a trio selected to compete in the qualifiers of the competition.
Representing Namibia will be Tuki Jacobs, Ben-Piet O’Callaghan and Hermann Kuscke.
The team is expected to depart for Cairo, Egypt on 4 September while the tournament is expected to kick-off on 8 September, with the trio expected back in the country the weekend after the tournament kicks-off. The play-off’s afford the trio the unique opportunity to wear national colours, apart from the teams competing in the Olympics.
Jacobs makes his third appearance, Kuscke his second while O’Callaghan will be making his first appearance in the play-off’s.
Namibia will be competing in Africa Group 3, with 14 other Africa member states. Group 3 is the second last tier of the play-off’s.
