NAMA nominees
Erna Chimu’s album Hai-Serute has been nominated in four categories this year.
For the Best Album of the Year there are two female artists nominated, “Hai-Serute” by Erna Chimu and “Free Sugar” by Vanity.
Erna Chimu has also been nominated in the Best Females Artist of the Year, Best Instrumental (inclusive of jazz), and Best Traditional.
Her producer has been nominated for Best Producer, for her album “Hai Serute”. Chimu said she is very surprised to be nominated in the categories of Best Album and Female Artist of the Year, because she only entered in the traditional and instrumental categories.
She said this shows that her hard work is paying of and that her music is being appreciated.
The categories Entertainment DJ of the Year and Entertainment Journalist of the Year were included for the first time this year.
