Shilongo said “The formation of the Corporate Relations department for the Group is a consolidation of communications functions across the Group. The role of the centralised Corporate Relations function is to bring the Group’s purpose to life by maintaining, enhancing and strengthening their positive corporate brand image amongst the various stakeholder publics. Shilongo advised that the vision of the department is to protect, grow and manage the corporate reputation of the O&L Group of Companies by leveraging the scale and diversity of the companies in order to create sustainability for all.  At the same time the Group purpose “Creating a future, enhancing life” would be kept alive. “The department will further develop and implement tactical medium and long term plans impacting on the company with regard to corporate social investments, corporate brand and image, corporate support, public relations, and engagement of all stakeholders while at the same time developing a team of experts in the execution thereof,” he added.
