RCC gives more bursaries

Since the Roads Contractor Company (RCC) started its reorganisational process in 2008, it has  reintroduced its bursary scheme project aimed at financially assisting Namibians pursuing studies in civil, mechanical engineering and quantity surveying.
The chief executive officer of the RCC, Engelhard Haihambo said this week that the introduction of the bursary scheme is geared towards building a national pool of qualified and skilled Namibians by assisting prospective students through the provision of the bursaries.
One of the five lucky recipients of the bursaries, Rashad Cloete, a B.Tech Mechanic engineering student said that receiving this award is a big achievement to him.
“I used to pay my studies all by myself last year he said, I was working and studying at the same time and now I can concentrate on my studies therefore achieve better results.”
