Cricket Namibia has announced a 15-member squad ahead of the Under 19 ICC World Cup that will be held in the United Arab Emirates beginning 14 February.
Namibia was placed in group B in which they will square of against Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Australia. The two top teams in the group will progress to the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League quarter finals.  The squad announced by Cricket Namibia is a selection of the country’s top emerging cricketing talent including national representatives currently participating in the ICC Cricket World Cup qualifier currently under way in New Zealand. 

To prepare adequately for the Under 19 World Cup, players endured months of preparation which saw the aspiring hopefuls take part in many Under 19 competitions in South Africa, testing the young cricketers in various conditions.
Namibia’s squad will be coached by High Performance Coach Rangarirai Manyande. The team will be managed by Polly Negongo. Physio Clint Henry and Video Analyst Jason Douglas will also accompany the team. Namibia Under 19 squad:
