GOtv now also at the coast

In December, MultiChoice Namibia expanded its choice of offerings at the coast by launching GOtv in the harbour town of Walvis Bay. “Residents of Walvis Bay are now able to enjoy quality digital entertainment as GOtv brings even more value to television viewers at the new offer price of N$499 once-off” MultiChoice said when announcing the launch.
“As an African business, GOtv is constantly striving to meet the needs of television audiences in Namibia, and firmly believes that the launch of GOtv will ultimately provide a single solution for television viewers to enjoy a wide range of digital channels thus opening up a whole new world of great family entertainment. GOtv now offers both the GOtv and GOtv Plus bouquets which are packed with exciting local and international channels designed to keep your family entertained with great news, movies, kids programming and sport.”
The launch of GOtv at the coast means that low-income earners now have the opportunity to access a range of international and local channels from as little as N$499 payable once off standard with a month’s free subscription.

MultiChoice pointed out that viewers would enjoy uninterrupted television ahead of the much anticipated analogue switch–off in Namibia slated for mid 2015. Launched with the latest DVB – T2 technology, subscribers could rest assured in the knowledge that there would be no need to replace or update their decoders. MultiChoice assured customers that GOtv would have the latest technology.  The GOtv service comes packaged with up to 30 channels on the premier bouquet and 20 on the compact bouquet offering viewers a wide range of channels cutting across various tastes covering news, sports, entertainment, documentaries, and movies. Monthly subscription for the two bouquets amounts to N$90 for GOtv Plus and N$60 for GOtv. Speaking at the launch, MultiChoice Namibia General Manager Roger Gertze said ”We at GOtv are constantly innovating to ensure we continue to deliver the best possible digital television to the people of Namibia. We come from a solid corporate background and family in which MultiChoice has a proud legacy of 20 years of providing the best digital television to Africa. Thus, not only are we passionate about digital television, but we are passionate about television broadcasting and our Namibian subscribers – which is why GOtv is the home of great channels.”  ”When people think of digital television they immediately imagine it has to be expensive. This is not the case with GOtv, which offers great family entertainment at affordable prices. In fact, the GOtv service was specially created to make an affordable quality digital television product available for all. Residents of Walvis Bay are now benefitting from easy access to an increased number of digital channels, with enhanced picture and sound quality synonymous with digital television. The GOtv channel line-up and bouquets, which have been researched extensively, are uniquely created to enable GOtv to become the home of quality and affordable entertainment” he said.
