Charitable banking

During the festive season FNB employees put smiles on the faces of Liina’s Orphanage in Havana, Katutura. “It is better to give than to receive they say” said Vicky Muranda, Group Manager Corporate Communication. The staff and management of FNB have a strong social conscience and they try to help vulnerable children as much as they can.

FNB’s slogan “How can we help you” not only refers to their banking clients, but also to the community at large especially to the needy and those who can not fend for themselves. All their staff members are encouraged to be involved in charitable community organizations and events.
 Giving is part of their company culture and the staff demonstrates that, said Muranda. Pictured is an FNB staff member handing out gifts to one of the children at Liina’s Orphanage, while the rest enjoy a meal in the back ground, courtesy of the FNB staff.
