Samsung and its distribution partner in Namibia, Furntech Agencies, have given the newly built Maerua Children’s Home a connectivity boost with a donation of N$55,000 of electronic goods including a camera, fridge, home theatre systems and TVs.
Theo Senekal, Samsung Country Manager and Johan van Straaten, General Manager of Furntech Agencies visited Huis Maerua in Auasblick recently.
“We maintain a wide range of Corporate Social Responsibility activities to help build a better society for all. Most notably, Furntech Agencies and Samsung jointly support numerous enterprises for children as well as on the educational front.” said Senekal. The two companies believe that business can only prosper when the society within which it operates remains healthy. Apart from support for the children’s home, both Samsung and Furntech said they are an active participant in a number of charity projects.
“We at Furntech Agencies are in a privileged position to be able to give to those less privileged and we know that our Samsung products will enhance life at Huis Maerua.” said Van Straaten.
