Shortly before their departure to Austria on Wednesday the Namibian Under 18 Fistball team received a sponsorship from Cymot. The company provided the players and management with shoes designed by well known Namibian kwaito star Ees. The Namibian team will be participating at the U18 European Championships in Vöcklabruck, Austria on 13 and 14 July 2013 after which they will attend an international training camp in Austria where the Namibian youngsters will be exposed to Fistball coaches from around Europe. Namibia was invited to participate at the event since there is no regional Fistball competition in Africa as Namibia is the only Fistball playing nation on the continent. (photograph contributed)
