NUST career fair offers many opportunities

The first Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) Career fair was officially opened on Wednesday. Themed ‘Sustainable Innovation’, schools from all across the country brought their learners to the fair to experience firsthand what a university atmosphere feels like and to get to talk and interact with companies that they would want to be employed by in the future. The guest speaker at the opening ceremony was Mr Erwin Tjipuka, Managing Partner of Deloitte Namibia. He encouraged the pupils to always follow their dreams and to show perseverance. Students from the university’s hotel school, under the guidance of their lecturer, Chef Ralf Hergott (centre) showed the visiting learners the tricks of their trade. About The Author

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
