Valuable women should not underestimate themselves

Oiva Angula, (left) Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Telecom Namibia joined the women of the Katuka Mentorship Programme on Wednesday evening for their annual Certificate Award evening. Now in its 14th year, the Katuka Mentorship Programme has trained 280 young business and professional women, said Desere Lundon-Muller (right), the Economist Marketing Manager and organiser of all the Economist projects. Also attending the event was the Katuka patron, Inge Zaamwani-Kamwi (second from left) who gave wise words to the women saying that they are valuable and they should plough back into their community. “So not underestimate yourself,” she emphasised. Seasoned Katuka trainer and Thalestris HR Specialist and Life Coach, Sabine Ruegg (back row third from left) said that the world is at a crossroads and women should always grab opportunities like this with both hands.
