Jonathan from the Havana informal settlement experienced a proud moment when the Minister of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, Hon. Zepahnia Kameeta invited him to pose for a photograph.

Earlier this week, the Tim Ekandjo Family Initiative, in partnership with Pick ‘n Pay and ReadiBites Meat, launched the winter mobile soup kitchen to support disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Katutura’s northern informal settlements.“I’m delighted to finally get this project off the ground as it will be a cold winter, and these children wake up and go to school on empty stomachs and return home on empty stomachs. The mobile soup kitchen will assist their tummies and give them the necessary strength to make it through the day” said project patron, Tim Ekandjo.
