Soul Kombo to jazz up FNCC

The Soul Kombo will perform on 29 April at the FNCC at 20:00 hrs.Tickets are available at the venue at N$80 in advance and N100 at the door.

The acoustic afro-jazz band formed collaboratively in Namibia with members from all over the globe, have promised a combination of voices and rhythms of jazz, new soul and Afro-fusion.

According to the band, the music they create is heavily inspired by jazz with a lot of African flair and neo soul and their style is rooted in making the audience part of a live jam session on stage.

Soul Kombo features Rahma the Bass, Ali Jonker, Nokuphila, Nasim and Tapz as they take the Acoustic stage. On the vocals and double bass is Rahma the Bass, a vocalist, writer and double bassist from Virginia, U.S.A and her main influences are jazz and R&B music but her musical repertoire spans many genres including rock and hip-hop.

Nasim is a Namibian vocalist and guitarist, who has performed at many of Namibia’s premiere music venues, and was highly acclaimed at the FNCC Femme Fest in 2016.
