Private collector generously donates wigs for cancer patients

This donation will go a long way as it will enlarge CAN’s collection on offer to assist those women who have been affected by radiation during cancer treatment.
“I have a love for wigs that suite my outfits when dressing up for an occasion, but I felt the need to help women who lose their hair during cancer treatment by donating my prized items, some hand made, some ordered from the internet,” Pontac said.
According to the Cancer Association, at the moment they are urgently looking for local wig manufacturers, since the previous manufacture of natural hair wigs in South Africa now charges over N$40,000 per wig making them unaffordable for the association.
