CRAN makes new appointments

Lelanie BassonHelene VoslooThe Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) recently announced new key Justus Tjitukaappointments to its team. The staff advancements are expected to strengthen the regulator’s reach both locally and internationally, reinforcing CRAN’s ability to facilitate a vibrant ICT sector in Namibia.Lelanie Basson was appointed as head of communications and external relations. Helene Vosloo will head the regulator’s economics and sector research department.
She is tasked to carry out economic research and analysis, providing a source of economic expertise and advice to support the development of strategy and policies to the chief of operations within CRAN.
Justus Tjituka is head of finance; his primary role is that of managing the financial and administration functions, ensuring that all requirements of the Communications Act are adhered to under the guidance of the chief of operations within CRAN.
