Some twenty three Members of Parliament and senior leaders from Namibia, Botswana and South Africa, last week attended a three-day programme at a resort near Windhoek. The British Council in Namibia hosted Middleground’s ‘Leadership Breakthroughs’ Module A which provides a radical route to transform the results and reputation of organisations and communities by transforming leadership. Leadership Breakthrough is the first part (Module A) of the Systematic Leaders Programme (SLP) which grows out of a groundbreaking leadership initiative introduced and funded by British Council in 2005. Kapena Tjombonde, director at the MVA Fund and one of the participants, said: “The programme exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to any manager who wants to enhance his or her leadership skills”.
