The latest edition of the FNCC event series, Dance Showcase Namibia, features Dance Domain: a dance studio that opened its doors in 2005 in Namibia but has been active in South Africa since 2004. The show takes place on Friday, 01 August, at 20:00 at the FNCC.
“We believe if you can walk you can dance. So put on those dancing shoes and shake a leg like there is no tomorrow!”, said Christelle van der Merwe from Dance Domain studio. The Windhoek studio of the South African chain is situated in the Southern Industrial Area and specializes in 22 different Latin American, Ballroom and Hip Hop dances. It caters for all ages and sizes.
Dance Domain’s syllabus and dance styles are based on the curriculum approved by the South African Dance Foundation (SADF). This means that if students ever had to join a dance studio for dance lessons anywhere else in the world, they will have learned the dance elements that are common ground with international standards.
