Anita Kinder and Simone von Wietersheim are set to extend their lead in the Kia Namibia National Beach Volleyball Tour this coming Saturday. The duo of Kinder / von Wietersheim have taken over the lead in the national tour from Hoeritzauer /Kesselmann after winning last month’s Maerua Superspar tournament. In the men’s category, Namibian U21 national team, Tin Hlupic and Gerard Fischer have excellent chances of taking over the lead from Achim Lück in the Kia National Tour. With Saturday’s Maerua Superspar tournament which will be held at DTS Beach Arena in Windhoek, we move into the second half of the national tour playing the fifth of a total of eight tournaments. In the tournament Namibia’s top youth players will also be competing in the youth
girls category sponsored by Windhoek Canopy Centre and the youth boys category, which will also include the 2-a-side social players. For the social teams a 4-a-side competition will also again be presented on the grass field, making this a great event for the whole family and for players of all levels.
