O&L implements e-recruitment system

The Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group of Companies has implemented an electronic recruitment system to manage the recruitment process, with the purpose of ensuring a cost and time effective and efficient recruitment process. As a result, all applications for O&L vacancies will be managed through this system.
According to O&L Group Human Capital Director, Berthold Mukuahima, the newly implemented system holds a number of benefits for both O&L as well as for applicants  ranging from a reduction in paperwork which will positively contribute to vision 2017 of having a positive carbon footprint; all vacancies, applications, shortlisting and notifications will be managed electronically, saving time and ensuring vacancies are filled in a shorter period of time; quick and effective feedback to applicants on the progress of their applications; to an effective database of applicants, providing the company with an excellent source of possible future employees to draw from when in need of scarce skills.“Furthermore, applicants only need to fill in the application form on the system once – as this will be saved on the system and your data will remain on the system. This means that you do not need to complete any forms again when you want to apply for another O&L vacancy. You will however have the option to change your personal information when the need arise, keeping your personal profile (CV) up to date on a continuous basis.  You will continuously be informed of current O&L vacancies as well as vacancies that fit your personal profile,” he said.The O&L E-recruitment system will be effective as of 17 June 2013. Applicants are requested to make use of the system if interested in applying for O&L vacancies, by visiting advised that a generic advert will be placed in the local newspapers on Thursdays, informing the public of all external vacancies within the O&L Group.
