Round 3 of the National Eduro Series

The third round of the Bank Windhoek Namibian National Series will be held this Saturday, 13 April at Omakwara farm in the Witvlei District. The event is co-sponsored by AB Construction, Stitch Witch and CaterHire.
With a fun race included again this year, entries are set to be as high as last year’s 104 entries, which were the largest in the history of the sport. Lucky draws and medals for finishers in the fun race will be up for grabs. In its pursuit to grow the sport, the Namibian Enduro Club felt that Omakwara farm, owned by the Hennes family, would be an ideal venue for first timers to gain experience in the sport. A separate track has been laid out for this class and riders will need to complete two laps of the 18.5 km course and a junior class will also be provided for with a short 3 km track.
In order to encourage more riders to enter, as well as to grow the sport, there will be no entry fee for these fun classes, but riders will need to buy a day license for the race.
Saturday’s racing will start at 07:00 with documentation for non-Windhoek riders. Windhoek riders can do the documentation on 11 April in the afternoon from 17:30 at KTM located in Toivo Ya Toivo Street. Refreshments will be on sale at the track on Saturday. The public is invited to attend the event.
