South African Indie-folk artist to perform in Windhoek for the first time

South African Indie-folk singer and songwriter, Shotgun Tori, will perform for the very first time in Windhoek on 25 January at the Loft, Warehouse Theatre, according to a statement released this week.

Local singer-songwriter, Ray Seefeldt will be the visitor’s opening act for the evening.

Shotgun Tori is at heart, a storyteller who sings straight from her heart and feet, while blending folk, rockabilly, country and alternative. She shares tales of heartache and infidelity, of being brave and imperfect, the road and the secrets of being human.

Her raw vocal delivery is both tender and powerful and listeners are left with no doubt that she sings straight from her hear. Her music puts her audience on the spot, in the moment, while sometimes fun and upbeat, it is often gentle and heart-wrenching.

Tori has had over 300 live performances since her debut in 2011. Tori has toured the length and breath of South Africa, and thrown in Namibia and Mozambique for good measure.
