‘No Child Should Grow Up Alone’ campaign in full swing

The SOS Children’s Village Namibia launched a campaigned titled “No Child Should Grow Up Alone” on the Universal Children’s Day and through this campaign they have created a video from children’s and families’ home videos from around the world.

The SOS Village is also making used of the social media to advance the cause of to garner more exposure with the International Ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages, Vincent Kompany a professional footballer from Belgium.

In light of all of this SOS Namibia will host an Individual Giver Recruitment campaign on 7 December at Wernhill Park from 12:00 t0 18:00, on 8-9 December from 12:00 to 18:00 and 09:00 to 14:00 and at the Grove Mall from 15-16 December from 09:00 to 14:00 both days.

The SOS Children’s Village Namibia therfore invites the public to be part of this historical event and to go support them.

SOS Children’s Villages Namibia is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring to take action for children as an independent non-governmental social development organization, within the framework of the implementation of the Child Care & Protection Act. They work in the spirit of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and they promote these rights throughout the world.

Their vision is to ensure that every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security.
