The Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino recently handed a selection of bed linen, blankets and towels to the value of approximately N$10,000 to the School for the Visually Impaired. At the hand-over, Hon Clara Bohitile, Deputy Chairman on the hotel’s board said the children at this special school have the same rights as able-bodied or privileged children and therefore deserved hand-outs every now and then. She added: “As a company and a parastatal we take great pride in assisting the community and always endeavor to find ways and means to do so. And if we can support those that are in need, the donation is that much more worthwhile.”
Ms Fransman and Rolanda Kisting, a student at the school thanked the hotel’s General Manager, Mr Tony Boucher.
