St George’s Diocesan Primary School achieved exceptional results at the recent annual National Science Fair by winning three gold and two silver medals.
“We are extremely proud of the achievements of our children. They have worked very hard to accomplish these results. A special mention must also be made of the teachers who worked, and supported them, all the way.” said Principal of the School Dawie Leibbrandt.
The National Science Fair took place on 11 and 12 September. The Karas Region was crowned overall winner for 2012 and this was the second year in a row that the southern region won this annual event. St George’s also achieved a second place for primary schools in the overall national competition.
