
New radio station hits the airwaves

The team who created Radiowave 96.7 FM announced that JACK FM, a brand new national radio station was launched nationally on Wednesday at 6am.
JACK FM will dedicate its mission to play, promote and entertain the nation with a broad and instinctive mix of music, from the past four decades, with artist from eras of The Beatles to Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones to Coldplay, The Who to the Stone Roses, Oasis to Shia.
Quintin Kotze, of JACK FM said the station will explore four decades of pioneering music as well as new artists and will feature the most extensive playlist of music on national commercial radio.
According to Kotze after conducting a huge amount of research, the feedback confirmed that there is a massive gap in the radio market for a new national station which promotes the very best of music.
JACK FM is available right across Namibia on the FM brand with less interruptions and just music for 24 hours a day.
Listeners can tune in to Jack FM nation wide on the following frequencies, Windhoek 103.5 FM, Arandis 94.3 FM, Eenhana 95.5 FM, Gobabis 92.9 FM, Grootfontein 95.2 FM, Henties Bay, 95.1 FM, Karibib 94.6 FM, Katima Mulilo 107.4 FM, Keetmanshooop 95.6 FM, Ludertiz 93.7 FM, Mariental 97.3 FM, Okahandja 103.5 FM, Omaruru 94.6 FM, Oranjemund 97.3 FM, Oshakati 95.5, Ondangwa 95.5, Ongwediva 95.5, Otjiwarongo 90.9, Outapi 95.5 FM, Rehoboth 103.5 FM, Rosh Pinah 103.4 FM, Rundu 92.7 FM, Swakopmund 94.3, Tsumeb 92.6 FM, Usakos 94.6 FM and Walvis Bay 95.1 FM.
