The team who created Radiowave 96.7 FM announced that JACK FM, a brand new national radio station was launched nationally on Wednesday at 6am.
JACK FM will dedicate its mission to play, promote and entertain the nation with a broad and instinctive mix of music, from the past four decades, with artist from eras of The Beatles to Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones to Coldplay, The Who to the Stone Roses, Oasis to Shia.
Quintin Kotze, of JACK FM said the station will explore four decades of pioneering music as well as new artists and will feature the most extensive playlist of music on national commercial radio.
According to Kotze after conducting a huge amount of research, the feedback confirmed that there is a massive gap in the radio market for a new national station which promotes the very best of music.
