The National Health Training Centre of the Ministry of Health and Social Services also had an exhibition stall at the Katutura career fair.

“Young people should make use of the opportunities at career fairs”, said Junior Mayor of the City of Windhoek, Councillor Kambarure Kaputu at the Katutura Career Fair. He urged young people to attend such events and spend sufficient time at the different exhibitions to get valuable information that will help to equip them to reach their vision in life.
Kaputut said “Being a leader myself I value the importance of knowledge and I believe that through this career fair participants will realize opportunities and set a vision for themselves. I want to quote Jean-Paul Satre, a French Philosopher and writer who said: Man is what he wills himself to be.”
The Junior Mayor was speaking at the 2nd The Young Achievers annual Katutura career fair which took place at the Katutura Multi-Purpose Youth Resource Centre last Friday, under the theme: “Sharpening young minds for a better tomorrow”.
At the first career fair, last year, only 11 exhibitors participated. Their number has grown to 25 this year.”I am confident that the third Katutura Career Fair will have double the number of exhibitors,” said Kaputu.
The career fair is an annual event organized by the Young Achievers Empowerment Project, a youth  organization in Katutura as part of their vision to help young people access tertiary education.
The event brought together learners from different schools in Katutura as well as school leavers.
Young Achievers was established by Dr. Pandu Hailonga van Dijk and Legune Lockett in 2004.
