Klipdrift Gold Cup

Stefanus Bonafatius (right) is the champion golfer of the first qualifying round for the Windhoek Lager Africa Jacket series. This first tournament, known as the Klipdrift Gold Cup, was played over two days and 54 holes for the A and B divisions and 36 holes for the C division. Altogether 55 players took to the golf course. The first day ended with Stefanus leading by two strokes (145) from Epix Mulombelwa (147), with Likius Naande a further two strokes back (149). The final round was eventually won by Stefanus with a round of 71, even par. The Breweries invited all Namibian A, B and C division golfers to enter for the remaining three qualifying tournaments to be in the running for the Windhoek Lager Africa Jacket Golf Championship which will take place from 22 – 25 June 2016 in Windhoek.
