SME Bank lands in the North

The SME Bank, Namibia’s partner for growth last week activated its new branch at the Oshana Mall in Ongwediva. This new branch furthers the bank’s expansion plan and is in line with its strategy to strengthen its physical presence and services outreach within Namibia.

The new branch, located on the east entrance of the Mall will offer customers a large portfolio of compliant products for individuals and businesses and will remain open from 08am until 16H00 on weekdays.
Expressing his satisfaction while activating the new branch, Laban Ndjadila. SME Bank Manager, Employee Banking, said: “One of the key goals of our expansion drive is to reach out and be close to our customers everywhere in Namibia. The new branch will help us increase the level of personalization in our service, our key differentiator. The Oshana Mall is the ideal location for our third branch in Namibia due to its high foot-fall.”The Oshana Mall is staffed by a majority of Northern residents which reflects the Bank’s aim to support and develop national talent. Established in 2012, the Bank’s mandate is to grow and develop the Small and Medium Enterprises. The SME Bank is the first to offer clients no cash deposit fee on all cash deposits and we have amongst other new products flexible collateral requirements.
