Career
After matriculating from Delta Secondary School, she attended Northlink College in Cape Town where she obtained a Diploma in Marketing.
“After returning home, I completed a marketing internship with New Point Solutions where I was given the chance to put all that I had learned into practice. Thereafter I obtained a certificate from Bio Sculpture Namibia and started a small business in the beauty industry.”
“I enrolled at the University of Namibia in 2012 to study Clinical Psychology which allowed me to understand human behaviour and mental states on an in-depth level. The idea of one day opening a health and wellness centre had started to come to life.”
“I then took an interest in the ancient discipline of yoga which became a great passion of mine and urged me to undertake a yoga teacher training course at Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi. I have since opened my own yoga business and practise on a daily basis.”
Yoga by Beauty has been one of the businesses involved with the Indian High Commission to organise and participate in the celebrations and events for International Yoga Day in June 2015.

Credo
Yoga has allowed me to exert greater control over my mind and body, an invaluable skill for any performer. My life story thus far has attracted diverse fields and events that contribute to the artistic and entrepreneurial side of me. This is a very big part of who I am.
Yoga is all about balance and creating connections within the self and among others. I have been privileged enough to have found a way to make my passion and my lifestyle my business and build a brand around that.
