Spikes fly at Interpack Beach Volleyball tourney
Crème de la Crème: The winning ladies teams who participated at the Interpack Beach Volleyball tourney 2015.
The mixed 4-a-side competition took place between 6 teams that all had at least one woman on court at all times. With regulars, Meatco Lovers & Meatco Paradise battling for the title, a new team from the Walvis Bay (Navy) stepped in to add some spice to the competition.
The round robin saw Meatco Lovers win all three of their matches which guaranteed them first place.
The social 2-a-side competition had 11 teams and the young duo of Damian Schreiber and Marco Jauss dominated the category and walked away with the social 2-a-side title.
Meanwhile in the men’s competition they used a double-elimination format (that means: two losses and you are out). Achin Lueck and Peter Brinkmann took their first title in over a year to become Interpack Winter Classic 2015 Men’s Champions.
The women’s competition had 7 teams that took part and Kim Seebach and Stephanie Palmhert came out victorious as the Interpack Winter Classic Ladies Champions.
The prize sponsors at the tourney were, INTERPACK, Court Sponsor; DTS Sports Club, and Technical Supervisor Sponsor; Timeout Beach Volleyball Academy.
The NVF Beach Tour makes its fifth stop on Saturday 24-25 July at Swakopmund on Mole Beach.
