Friday Bash @ The Kalabar erupts with R&B, reggae and soul
The popularity of their Thursday evening Jazz shows at The Kalabar in the Hilton Hotel, has prompted Ondjila Y’Ondjaba Concert Agency to start a similar evening on Fridays for light entertainment. The pilot show launches next week Friday when singer Doris Chadre’ offers her repertoire of R&B, reggae and soul.
“Ondjila Y’Ondjaba Concert Agency, in collaboration with the Hilton Hotel is cooking up an up-tempo, high-energy, party inducing life entertainment event under the banner ‘Friday Bash @ The Kalabar’, come next week Friday, 19 June 2015. There are more to come at this popular night spot from early July 2015 onwards” OYO said in a statement announcing the start of Friday Bash.

Fact remains that, come Friday 17h00, energies climb, expectations of what is to come rise, the evenings become brighter and the weight of a hard week’s work disappears. That is where the Hilton Kalabar comes in. Live musicians are selected to perform there on Fridays in accordance with their ability to create a party mood.”
