The Eliminators Table Tennis Club (ETTC) will be hosting its annual tournament on Saturday at the Eliminators Club in Windhoek, starting in the morning at 8:30. The event returned to the NTTA calendar last year after a nearly five year absence.

Close to 80 players from all over the country made their way to last year’s event and more are expected for this year’s edition.
Besides the eagerly anticipated table tennis action between some of Namibia’s finest players, the tournament will see variety of new and different aspects taking place.
One of the main focuses will be in the ladies division. It will be the first time in a long while that a Namibian tournament will have a ladies and mixed doubles category.
Furthermore, it will be the first tournament at which both the seniors and juniors will be utilising the continuous draw system. This system was first introduced during the Saunderson & Co Rehoboth junior open last month.
The introduction of the new Men’s Open category will also take place.
This playing division will replace the Senior Singles category.
It is open to all juniors and seniors any age. The juniors will, however, still battle it out in their respective divisions.
