Skorpion helps expand health education

Skorpion Zinc made serious inroads into the country’s healthcare sector by spending approximately N$6 million on health-related projects in their 2013/2014 financial year. Present at the launch of the latest project are the Minister of Mines and Energy Hon. Isak Katali, the Director of  Welwitschia University Dr. Kloppers and General Manager of Skorpion Zinc, Satish Kumar in Windhoek this week. A total of 10 computers were handed over at the launch of the CSR project, signalling the mining house’s efforts to improve the state of healthcare education. The computers will be used to aid in the training of future nurses. Skorpion Zinc’s CSR covers aspects related to education, sports and health.
