One laptop for every 10 kilometres

When he is not playing golf to raise funds, he supports the nation-wide Walk for Bibles, making sure his small contribution helps make this event the huge success it has become. Gary Spinas, the chief financial guru at Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb was unexpectedly rewarded for his humble effort, when he won a laptop as part of the Walk for Bibles promotion. The Bible Society of Namibia had their National Walk for Bibles at the end of October in 14 towns across Namibia. A lucky draw competition was run for early entrants. The prize is a Proline laptop sponsored by Pinnacle Africa. Spinas (middle) received his laptop last week from Christel Langehoven (left), the Communications Officer at the Bible Society. Supplier of the laptop, Mr Wally Norval, Business Development Manager of Pinnacle Africa, witnessed the handover.
