Embassy embarks on voluntary exercise to update the list of all citizens currently residing in China

The Namibian Embassy in China has commenced with in the process of updating the list of all Namibians currently residing in the country, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 infection formerly coronavirus.

The Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, in a statement announced that the Embassy in China is requesting the parents, guardians and relatives of Namibians who are living in China, but did not make any contact with the Namibian embassy, to advice their next of kin to contact the Mission urgently for their details to be captured in this voluntary exercise.

“Namibians living in China will be expected to submit details including their names, source of funds, whether self-funded or under scholarship, passport number, name of institution, city and province where presently situated,” the statement read.
