Rugby to gain support

Sanlam Namibia on 22 and 23 April 2013, for the 19th consecutive year, sponsored the Primary Schools u/13 Rugby Trials. This event brought together young rugby players from all regions in Namibia, with the aim of choosing 34 players who will compete for inclusion in the Craven Week team and represent Namibia on a national level.
Tertius Stears, Group CEO of Sanlam Namibia Holdings, said that Sanlam Namibia strongly believes that supporting sports development at school level, equals supporting sport at a national level. “That is why we are committed to allocating available resources to sport initiatives that will positively influence the lives and aspirations of all Namibians. We aim to unlock the inherent sport potential that exists in our sportsmen and women, and to unearth the hidden talent and stars in our country,” he said.
