Gondwana card programme gets exciting upgrades, additions

Following some confusion over the recent festive season with regards to the benefit and discount structure of the Gondwana Card programme, Gondwana Collection Namibia revisited the Gondwana Card and its original intent.

The Gondwana Card was created in 2007 with the expressive purpose of making Namibia an affordable destination for regional travellers, to offer people the opportunity to travel within the country and enjoy the same services and experiences afforded to international tourists.

According to Gondwana, their web store which they launched after several months of development, has a specific log-in feature for card holders.

“This feature allows for the online application for new cards as well as direct bookings with real time availability for all card holders,” they added.

The reason for this they said is to ease the application process as well as to provide cardholders with a convenient and easy portal for bookings, reservations and access to information on a 24 hour basis in the convenience for your home, office or even on any mobile device.

Gondwana said apart from all their lodges, card benefits and discounts will as from 1 February also be valid for all their campsites and their new and exciting self-catering, fully-equipped tented camps referred to as Gondwana ‘Camping2Go’.

“These are already operational at Zambezi Mubala Camp in the Zambezi Region as well as Namib Desert Lodge near Sossusvley, plus a tented camp is currently under construction at Kalahari Anib Lodge,” they added.

Meanwhile Gondwana will also be running opening price specials on these camps till 31 October and the new exclusive Namushasha River Villa and a similar exclusive development at Namib Desert Lodge, which will be opening on 1 May, will also be included for card benefits.

“With its original purpose in mind, the Gondwana Cards have discounts, but due to it already low prices, Klein-Aus Vista camping will be the only exclusion and for more information please visit us at https://www.gondwana-collection.com/about-us/the-gondwana-card/,” they added.

Gondwana Collection Namibia have asked their visitors to note that their system programmers are currently updating all programmes to reflect the new pricing structures for Gondwana Card holders and the rates will display correctly upon login within the next two week.
