‘The Gathering’ returns to celebrate women
After a successful initial edition in February, ‘the Gathering’ is back on 9 March during International Women’s month.Tickets will be available at FNCC for N$50 in advance and N$70 at the door..
A cast of talented individuals from all artistic disciplines will come together for an evening of collaboration and cultural discovery with this second edition of ‘The Gathering’ at 20h00 at Franco Namibian Cultural Centre.
Directed by Actor and Poet ,Ashwyn Mberi, said The Gathering is a platform for upcoming performers from all mediums to express themselves. “In its first edition, it will soon become a regular of the Windhoek’s cultural life as a space to bring together different art forms,” he added.
Meanwhile, the show is audition-based but welcomes artists of all levels of experience to showcase their work and collaborate with other artforms.
This edition will feature a guest performance by Lize Ehlers, and will welcome participants: Harriet; D; Dean; Alex; Nahenda; the group Vumt ; Brandon; Mel mwevi; Sophia and C-star.
