New Deloitte partner

Deloitte this week announced the appointment of Erwin Tjipuka as partner at the firm since 02 October.  The auditing firm said Tjipuka’s appointment as partner continues Deloitte’s commitment to the development and recognition of Namibian skills. He initially joined the Deloitte Windhoek office as a trainee in 1997 and rose through the ranks to become a senior manager in the audit division. In 2005 he left to join the FNB group as Group Finance Manager and was promoted to the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2008, a position he held until his return to Deloitte. He is a Chartered Accountant and holder of a B.Com degree from UNAM, a post-graduate diploma in Accountancy from UCT, and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Business. In his new role, Erwin will be looking after both audit and consulting clients. “It is a great honour and privilege to have been admitted to the Deloitte partnership and I am very delighted.
