Jaguar XF voted best in Business Class
The appreciation by the people who enjoy beautiful cars most, has pushed the Jaguar XF to the top of its class in the recent cars.co.za consumer awards.
A panel of expert motoring and consumer adjudicators agreed that the Jaguar XF both promises and provides the ultimate in business travel. Most importantly, the awards also used consumer feedback from the peope that matters most, the current owners of Jaguars.
The award was accepted by Jaguar ambassador and Hollywood actor, Sharlto Copley. The event was held in Gauteng.
Following the awards, Jaguar SA stated “the Jaguar XF defines the segment with unrivalled design, luxury, technology and efficiency, underpinned by class-leading driving dynamics and refinement.”
Launched in February 2016, the XF’s aluminium frame is up to 190kg lighter than its predecessor. Combined with a selection of Jaguar’s powerful and efficient petrol and Ingenium diesel engines, acceleration from 0 to 100km/h takes just 5.3 seconds.
“The XF continues to be an award-winning car, and it’s easy to see why,” said Richard Gouverneur, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa. “It offers a thrilling driving experience that that excites the senses, in an incredible-looking package that meets the needs of modern consumers.”
The XF is also available with Jaguar’s virtual instrument cluster and 10.2-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system. This world-class infotainment system gives drivers instant access to their mobile phones using intuitive and familiar touch gestures, and can also be paired with an in-car wireless hotspot that enables a range of connected services. Additionally, InControl Touch Pro is paired to an impressive audio system designed by the experts at Meridian.
Most important to Jaguar is the data from actual owners which was included as part of the adjudication process. Said Gouverneur “this valuable feedback is testament to our customer-first philosophy which forms an important part of our value proposition.”
