Didier Drogba scores goal for sore eyes

Didier Drogba and Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) signed a donation agreement worth N$400,000 over the previous weekend when Africa’s most famous soccer star visited Namibia to promote his Social Investment work done in collaboration with the Breweries as their Windhoek Lager ambassador. The substantial grant is earmarked for the Ministry of Health and Social Services eye care unit. Drogba, the former Chelsea Football Club top scorer, entered into an agreement with the Breweries to invest in special machines for eye treatment under the supervision of Dr Helena Ndume, a noted Namibian ophthalmologist.
