Publicis Africa wins African Network Award
Local advertising agency adforce’s associate company, the Publicis Africa Group upped the ante at the African Cristal Awards when it scooped the African Network of the Year award and walked away with 16 medals, including one gold, and had fifty pieces shortlisted.
“This is a huge improvement from the six medals the previous year. The Holding Company of the Year was awarded to Publicis Groupe” said adforce this week in a statement announcing the awards.
“This is a wonderful result for the Publicis Africa Group and speaks to the depth of talent that we have gathered across the 35 countries in which the network operates,” said Kevin Tromp, CEO of Publicis Africa Group. “The combination of smart strategy and great creative ideas executed beautifully, has achieved positive results for our clients businesses, which is the most important thing, but it is also extremely satisfying to have the Publicis Africa Group recognised in an international competition of this nature.”
Tromp said this is proof of the importance the network is placing on Africa and the opportunities they intend to take full advantage of. “I am enormously proud of the team, and believe that this is just the beginning of the growth curve for the group” he said.
