The City of Windhoek held its annual Community donation project which was themed ‘Shoe Box Project’. Every year, the office of the mayor donates gifts and money for the less fortunate. The project is in its fifth year running. This year the COW adopted the Shoe Box Project concept as the gifts were donated in shoe box size packages.

These gifts and funds are donated by a collective of companies and individuals. Meatco donated its new branded MEATMA products to the charity event. Meatco’s Thoko Mdlalose said that MEATMA is proud to be part of the sponsorship as it wmeans ploughing back to the community.
