Quadriga gets Marriott certification

Quadriga Worldwide, a leading international provider of guest technology managed services for the hospitality industry, has become the third international European technology supplier to achieve Marriott International’s rigorous Global Property Network Standards (GPNS) EMEA certification.
Locally, Marriott owns the Protea Hotel group, operated by United Africa’s hospitality division.

Highly regarded throughout the hospitality industry, Marriott GPNS is designed to achieve an optimal guest experience through consistent and high-quality internet services. To obtain certification, Quadriga underwent extensive testing to demonstrate its capability to install and support a reliable high-speed internet access (HSIA) solution according to Marriott’s comprehensive specifications. This testing took place at Marriott’s Imperial Riding School Hotel in Vienna, which is part of the company’s Renaissance brand. Marriott created the GPNS program to ensure industry-leading internet consistency in its 4,100 properties located around the world across 18 prestigious brands, including Marriott Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Bulgari, EDITION, Renaissance, Gaylord Hotels, Autograph Collection, AC Hotels by Marriott, Moxy, Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Protea Hotels, Marriott Executive Apartments and Marriott Vacation Club timeshare brand.
Anantha Narayanan, Chief Technology Officer, Quadriga said that, “Achieving this standard, whilst meeting business revenue, user satisfaction and operational efficiency targets, underlines our company’s commitment to a 360° integrated and managed service approach to design, build and manage a complete network and technology ecosystem focused on the needs of hotel guests.”
“GPNS certification is an important step in the evolution of our business as a world-class network and technology platform solution provider to the hospitality industry,” said Roger Taylor, CEO, Quadriga.
“Every hotelier is aware of the stringency of the Marriott assessment process. Quadriga’s success in gaining this important credential is a clear signal of our determination to invest and build the necessary competencies to facilitate our unique guest technology managed service offering,” he added.
