Macho US Marines care for children
This past festive season produced an unexpected surprise when members of the US Marines Corps stationed at the US Embassy in Windhoek, extended their annual Toys for Tots campaign to the orphans of the Moria Grace orphanage in Katutura. The children under the care of Wilhelmina Afrikaner, welcomed US Embassy staff members bearing Christmas toys a few days before Christmas. Every year across the world, US Marines lead a toy drive called “Toys for Tots” to bring a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters by giving each a toy. US Ambassador Thomas Daughton (left) lead the Marines and embassy families delivering their messages of hope and friendship.
